Lab Assistant

Job Description

 Performs a variety of laboratory tests, solution/titer preparation, and sample analyses

according to established procedures/protocols of OEM / ISO

 Collects, prepares, and handles plant/mine samples for lab analysis. In addition,

ensures the proper sample coding/labelling and Lab documentation/record

 Volumetric / titration of TT, CC, and the supervision of the lot/CaO sampling

 Ensuring the mesh size, quality, and grade of the unstandardized sample before Sample

diffusion and introducing/feeding to AAS

 Operates the AAS, maintains laboratory instruments/equipment and ensures the rinsing

as per Laboratory standards

 Archive the experimental data and lab reports /records for future reference/reporting

 Operation and supervision of the Distillation plant

 Implementation and adherence to the reliability and accuracy of test results

 Keep the laboratory environment safe and clean

 Prepare comprehensive reports and execute the mine/plant / CaO tests

 Assist Consultant Chemical / Manager Chemical in their works

 Compliance with HSE requirements and reporting/correcting defects and unsafe

conditions

 Maintain the daily checklist/data log sheets / log register for another shift understanding
