Manager/ Dy Manager Food & Beverages

Job Description

Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.

Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.

Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.

Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and setting outstanding bills.

Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.

Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

Coordinating daily restaurant management operations.

Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction.

Responding efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints.

Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.

Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.

Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.

Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.

Organize and supervise shifts.

Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.

Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.

Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.

Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.

Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.

Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.

Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.

Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads).

Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.

Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.

Degree Qualification

Masters/ Bachelors with Certification/ Diploma in F&B

Degree Required

Master in Hotel Management / Bachelors in Hotel Management / Masters in F&B / Bachelors in F&B / Masters with Diploma in Food & Beverages / Bachelors with Diploma in Food & Beverages / Masters with Certification in Food & Beverages / Bachelors with Certification in Food & Beverages

Experience

Min 2 - 5 years post qualification experience in the relevant field.
