Job Description

Develop and implement long-term development strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. 

Identifying growth opportunities, assessing market trends, and forecasting future needs.

Lead and supervise development projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. 

Coordination with various teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and legal advisors.

Manage the financial aspects of development projects, including budgeting, cost estimation, and financial analysis. 

Monitor project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure projects remain within budget constraints.

Identify potential risks and challenges associated with development projects and develop strategies to mitigate them. 

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, community members, and other relevant parties. 

Provide leadership and guidance to the development team, including project managers, planners, and other staff members. 

Conduct market research and analysis to identify new development opportunities, assess demand for products or services.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits throughout the development process.

Maintain high-quality standards throughout the development process, including design, construction, and post-construction phases.

Prepare regular progress reports, financial statements, and other relevant documentation for senior management and stakeholders. 

Analyze project performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for future initiatives.

Degree Qualification

Masters/ Bachelors in Civil Engineering. Preferably PMP Certified

Degree Required

BS Civil Engineering with PMP Certification / MS Civil Engineering with PMP Certification / BSc Civil Engineering with PMP Certification / MSc Civil Engineering with PMP Certification

Experience


Min 3 - 6 years post qualification experience in the relevant field.

Skills

Supervising the project at all stages and providing solutions to problems.

Negotiating with vendors and contractors to secure the best prices.

Observing existing processes, analyzing staff performance, and addressing deficiencies accordingly
