Transportation Engineer

Job Description

To assist DD & Snr Tn Engr in accomplishment of his tasks in the relevant field.

Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up layout plans that satisfy technical specifications Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other).

Provide suggestion and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies in design or related work 

Oversee and mentor junior staff and liaison with seniors and other stakeholders.

Manage on site and lab testing as per specifications.

Competently use design software, engineering drawings, maps, report writing, responding to correspondence and work as executed as per approved drawings.

Carry out technical and feasibility studies.

Manage design, drawings as per specification & standard.

Skills

Sound knowledge of design, performance and construction quality control/ assurance in related field.

Knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar in related field.

Proficiency in understanding site layout, grading, utility design, regulatory approvals, etc.

Project management and supervision skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Sound knowledge of material on site and lab testing in the relevant field and corresponding manuals and specifications.
