Seior Geophysicist

Job Description

1.            The Senior Geophysicist will provide reliable technical brief to higher management on Geophysical techniques and their implementation for mineral exploration and development.

2.            Responsible to acquiring / monitoring the geophysical 2D & 3D data acquisition using gravity, magnetic and resistivity equipment to explore subsurface mineral potential, geological anomalies and groundwater.

3.            Interpreted all geophysical sections, geologic cross sections, sub-surface maps and models to estimate high and low grade of natural resources / mineralized zone.

4.            Professional report writing skills to concluded the natural mineralized zone with complete orientation and viable resource estimation, also executing exploratory drilling plan to confirmed geophysical results and mineral potential.   

5.            Responsible to promote the development and minerals resources to generate wealth for the benefit of company.

6.            The Senior Geophysicist will be responsible for supervision and training of geophysicist section staff.

7.            Ensuring that all reports and technical data are maintained in an archive.

8.            Confirms company geophysical projects are being conducted in a highly quality manner that assure technical completeness, accuracy and identifies additional expertise where needed. 

9.            Have prior technical experience that which geophysical techniques reliable / suitable for mineral exploration in any geological environment.

10.         Responsible to preparation of technical bidding documents, contract management and technical geophysical proposal for mineral exploration.
